SVN Suriname has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first CARICOM organization to receive UN-accredited Global Carbon Standard (GCS) certification for its reforestation project. The certification validates the project's verified CO₂ storage, social impact, and contribution to 10 UN Sustainable Development Goals, positioning Suriname as a regional sustainability leader.
